Who Participates In a Project?

The following are the key participants of a project.  These people are active participants and directly influence the success of a project.  There can one or more of each role in a project to support achievement of objectives.

Project Administrator

The Project Administrator is responsible for the coordination and management of the project, as well as quality assurance.  The Project Administrator is an expert in the field of health technology assessment and has years of experience to provide valuable support and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Request product information and project objectives from the client
  • Verify all required client information is collected
  • Recruit Assessors, following platform algorithms aligning expertise to project requirements
  • Track the progress of the project
  • Communicate status to the client
  • Produce initial report
  • Facilitate the report review process with the client
  • Deliver the final report to the client

Client

The client provides the initial project request which is evaluated by the Project Administrator. The Client can be an organization that would like a detailed analysis of a product under development in support of key milestone achievement, a research institute wanting a review and prioritization of products they are considering for further investment, or any organization wanting a deeper investigation of product viability and potential future commercialization success.

Responsibilities

  • Submit initial project request
  • Provide Request Scoping and Assessment Input to the Project Administrator
  • Review and agree to Project Terms of Service, and Statement of Work
  • Provide payment to the ASSESS Platform and receive receipt
  • Receive the final report on project completion

Assessor

The assessor is responsible for providing the expert analysis of the product in the context of the project request and goals. The assessor may be a subject matter expert in one or many facets of the project, and is recruited based on their experience and expertise as it relates to the project. 

Responsibilities

  • Review and agree to Project Terms of Service, and Statement of Work
  • Complete assessments aligned to project objectives, informed by review of client input, and following structured guidance and methods on The ASSESS Platform
  • Liase with the Project Administrator in order to complete the assessment, and to ensure high quality analyses.
